March provides engineering services in a number of disciplines including mechanical, structural, civil, process, mining, electrical, instrumentation and controls. Projects are executed by project and construction management professionals and a team dedicated to the delivery of client-tailored, industry leading project services. These services include scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, quality management, safety services, procurement, and environmental assessments and permitting.
Civil, Structural and FEA:
Our Civil and Structural department houses a wide range of expertise and experience throughout the industrial, commercial and municipal sectors. They have executed a wide variety of projects ranging from structural component replacement, to new processing plants and everything in between.
Specialties include asset integrity, design of thin-walled shell structures (silos and tanks), computational mechanics and 3D modelling, maintenance inspections, structural health monitoring, lifting devices, and structural analysis. Various software solutions are utilized to ensure the client receives the project outcomes they require. Although we design in 3D, we are able to communicate effectively with clients who prefer to operate in 2D.
Mechanical Engineering:
Our diverse team of mechanical engineers and technologists possesses experience in an extensive number of areas, including Mine Hoists and Shafts, Bulk Material Handling, Piping and Pump Design, Industrial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) including dust control, Advanced Machine Design, Asset Integrity and Analysis.
Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EIC):
Divided into four main areas, this comprehensive department houses the Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation and Communication Network components of our engineering team. Our EIC engineers and designers are dedicated to providing clients with complete solutions to their electrical requirements; these four areas work in synergy to achieve this goal. Safety and environment is a priority in every design and the use of redundant instruments and control logic prevents any type of negative environmental impact.
Mining and Process:
Specialized in the design and troubleshooting of industrial processes, our Process department provides design, analysis, and commissioning services to ensure process optimization in every application.
